Second in a series of Framed and Autographed Husker Classic Plays pieces. "Rooskie's Plaque" depicts coach Osborne most notable trick plays during his head coaching tenure at the University of Nebraska, 1973-1997. The Bumerooskie was a befuddling fake punt run against 12th ranked Missouri in Columbia by John O'Leary to score a 50 yard touchdown just prior to half. The Bouncerooskie was a risky trick play pulled of in the 1982 Oklahoma game in Lincoln where Turner Gill threw the ball short into the turf and bouncing it to wingback Irving Fryar, who then turned and threw the ball down-field to a streaking Mitch Krenk for a big gain. The Fumblerooskie was run multiple times by coach Osborne's teams, most notably in the 1984 Orange Bowl by Dean Steinkuhler as the Huskers were scrambling to come from behind against the upstart Hurricanes. Plaque is 18 in. by 24 in., double matted, with hand drawn prints of the three plays including descriptions of each in coach Osborne's handwriting. UV protected glass, acid free matting, hand signed by coach Osborne with Certificate of Authenticity included. Order now, allow 1 week for delivery.
